About the role- Join Elsevier's innovative Clinical Solutions (CS) team as a UX Researcher. You'll play a crucial role in shaping user experiences by conducting impactful research, aligning with product objectives, and collaborating with designers, PMs, and engineers. You will help us support librarians and other health professionals by providing UX research insights about how they use our tools as a trusted knowledge resource to support clinical care, research, education, and information literacy across their institution. Your expertise will bridge user needs with design solutions, fostering a user-centered culture within our dynamic teams.

Responsibilities
- Collaborating with your squad to explore problems from multiple perspectives.
- Aligning research solutions with product strategy.
- Identifying exploratory research opportunities with product leadership.
- Using research, determine what ideas best meet user and business needs
- Appling appropriate research methods to achieve goals.
- Developing an evidence-based research strategy in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Modeling excellence (not perfection) in user-centered research processes.
- Advocating for UX research best practices, especially for research.
Requirements
- User research methods: Ability to select and apply qualitative and quantitative research methods (e.g., interviews, usability testing, surveys, diary studies, A/B testing).
- Synthesis & analysis: Possess skills in analyzing data to uncover user needs, pain points, and motivations.
- Research planning: Can scope, design, and execute end-to-end research studies that align with business and product goals.
- Product alignment: Understands how to connect research insights to product roadmaps and company strategy.
- Problem framing: Can define and prioritize research questions that address real user and business challenges.
- Opportunity identification: Skilled at spotting new areas for exploration or innovation through research.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $93,400 - $155,700. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
