TITLE: Sales Representative
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing sales at key accounts as well as cultivating relationships with new customers. In this role you will work with various cross-functional groups within the organization to drive account strategies, focusing on increasing our market share with commercial and developmental products, as well as ensuring successful market penetration and product promotion.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Technical discipline or Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the plastic film industry or a related field.
• Strong understanding of plastic film products, manufacturing processes and, the packaging and labeling markets.
• Demonstrated ability to manage technical accounts, fostering growth within the territory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
• Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Customer Service, Technical, and Manufacturing departments.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful market strategies.
• Willingness to travel to visit customers and attend trade shows (as needed).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and business growth.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment and work independently.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage, maintain, and grow business share at key accounts.
• Identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts and prospective customers.
• Provide market and competitive data to management to create awareness within the organization.
• Develop and implement account strategies to achieve planned volume and margin improvement growth.
• Negotiate product pricing, business agreements, and new business opportunities at existing and new customers.
• Handle daily account management responsibilities including project follow up.
• Maintain accounts receivables and manage supply chain programs.
• Understand and effectively communicate customer requirements.
• Coordinate New Product Development activities with R&D and Market Manager.
• Coordinate responses for RFQ’s, recommend pricing strategy as appropriate.
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:
• Inside environmental conditions protected from weather conditions.
• Not exposed to any adverse environmental conditions. (Usually office work.)
