The Assistant Vice President (AVP) – Organization Development is responsible for leading strategic initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, leadership development, and change management. This role partners closely with senior leadership to align people strategies with business goals, fostering a high-performance culture and driving continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic OD Planning: Develop and implement organization development strategies that support business transformation, growth, and cultural alignment.
- Leadership Development: Design and oversee leadership development programs, succession planning, and talent pipelines.
- Change Management: Lead change initiatives, including organizational restructuring, process improvement, and cultural transformation.
- Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives to improve employee experience, engagement, and retention.
- Performance Management: Enhance performance management systems and practices to align individual goals with organizational objectives.
- Organizational Design: Support organizational structure reviews and workforce planning to ensure optimal alignment and efficiency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with HR, business leaders, and external consultants to deliver impactful OD solutions.
- Data-Driven Insights: Use analytics and feedback tools to assess organizational health and recommend interventions.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 12-15 years of progressive experience in Organization Development, HR, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership or strategic role.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of OD frameworks, change management methodologies, and leadership development.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience in using data to drive decisions.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence at all levels.
- Familiarity with digital tools for learning, performance, and engagement.
- Strong knowledge of OD frameworks, change management methodologies, and leadership development.
