About the role | He Aha Te Tūranga

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract as Campaign Marketing Specialist.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Brand, Sponsorship & Communications Senior Manager in the development and execution of:

  • Compelling marketing communications to build brand awareness and consideration of nib to support growth across nib channels.
  • Market leading member communications across the member journey to improve engagement and retention that result in positive member outcomes, achieve our NPS and brand health targets.
  • Managing the nib content plan and SEO along with agencies.

Responsibilities extend throughout the marketing portfolio, with an emphasis on BLT campaigns, including developing marketing activity and execution with external agencies (Creative, PR, media, fulfilment houses), liaising with internal stakeholders, campaign cost management, reporting day-to-day optimisation of marketing activities to maximise return on investment.

About you | Ko Wai Koe 

Ideally, you have a tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or a related field, along with 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring experience in leading out multi-channel marketing campaigns, with a focus on BTL and working closely with external agencies such as creative, PR, and fulfilment partners. You’ll be confident managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables, while working autonomously ensuring campaigns are executed to a high standard. Your ability to craft clear, engaging messaging and optimise marketing activities based on performance data will be essential in achieving strong ROI and supporting our NPS targets.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about customer-centric marketing. You’ll be comfortable liaising with internal stakeholders, managing campaign costs, and reporting on performance. A proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and a genuine interest in improving member experiences will set you apart. 

Furthermore, We’Re Looking For:

  • Experience in direct and database marketing practices
  • Confidence and credibility in front of team and business management
  • Ability to embrace new ideas be conceptual and innovative
  • Experience in health insurance, life insurance, general insurance, financial or health services (desirable)
  • Understanding of digital and social media experience in managing PR and creative agencies (preferred)
