Description
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases & Geographic Medicine, is seeking applicants for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor level and above.
Candidates will be expected to develop an independently funded basic science or translational research laboratory. The applicant will develop a robust research program that includes publications of peer-reviewed manuscripts, presentations at national and international meetings, and maintained a track record of sustained extramural grant funding. Expectation is that the applicant will have obtained funding support through a K99, R01, K22, or equivalent funding mechanism.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a Ph.D. or M.D./PhD degree, or equivalent, from an approved LCME medical school, graduate school, and have satisfactorily completed post-doctoral research training.
