High-Quality Colour Cosmetics

Creative Cosmetics is one of the UK’s leading niche cosmetics manufacturers, working with clients ranging from boutique brands to major high-street retailers. With over 35 years of experience, the company has built a reputation for innovation, quality, and reliability — offering a complete service from formulation and packaging to regulatory compliance and finished product delivery.

They are now seeking an experienced and commercially minded Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the factory, drive efficiency, and lead a dedicated and experienced team.

Operations Manager, The Role:

  • Lead day-to-day factory operations, ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently met
  • Oversee production planning and scheduling, managing workload up to 3–6 months ahead while adapting to short-term changes
  • Drive operational performance through process improvement, efficiency, and cost control
  • Manage and support a loyal and skilled production team, fostering development and accountability
  • Liaise directly with clients to ensure smooth project delivery and outstanding customer service
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Monitor KPIs across productivity, profitability, and stock management
  • Work with suppliers to source materials, control costs, and maintain production flow
  • Support business growth by helping to onboard and reassure new clients of Creative Cosmetics’ quality and service standards

Operations Manager, The Person:

  • Proven experience in operations management within manufacturing (ideally cosmetics, FMCG, or similar multi-product environments)
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness — confident with data, efficiency metrics, and cost analysis
  • Hands-on leader with excellent communication and team development skills
  • Highly organised, with the ability to plan ahead and respond effectively to changing priorities
  • Strong understanding of quality standards, H&S compliance, and production workflows
  • Customer-focused approach, with experience liaising directly with clients and suppliers
  • A proactive, solutions-driven mindset and the confidence to make impactful operational decisions

Operations Manager, The Benefits:

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Pension scheme
  • Profit sharing scheme
  • Friendly and supportive team culture
  • Free on-site parking
