To meet an increasing workload and support the development and growth of our company, Kelvin Power, have a permanent position for a Structural Engineering Graduate to work within the Structural Engineering Department.

Kelvin Power provides a wide range of engineering consultancy services on major infrastructure projects in the Energy Sector and have a 40 strong team of experienced multi-disciplinary engineers and technicians delivering solutions to projects across the UK and ROI.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Including but not limited to the following:

•

Producing calculations and drawings for structural engineering works associated with complex energy projects including plant structures, steel framed buildings, folded plate and lattice towers and girders

•

Liaising closely in house and externally with clients, clients’ engineers, contractors, statutory bodies and work to agreed delivery programs

•

Review project files for compliance with Standards/protocols and implement best practice procedure

Key Skills And Experience:

•

Academically qualified to BSc or MSc in civil or structural engineering and interested in working towards C Eng MIStructE

•

Experience of design and analysis software using CADS/ROBOT/TEDDS

•

Excellent Organisational Skills

•

Knowledge of industry standards and ability to produce construction standard drawings using AutoCAD

•

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
