About The Job:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems design, construction supervision, and compliance with industry standards and authority requirements. This role requires solid technical expertise, leadership in managing site activities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions for complex projects.

Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:

• Supervise and manage electrical construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable codes and standards.
• Review and approve electrical designs, shop drawings, materials, and technical submittals.
• Ensure adherence to authority requirements, local regulations, and international standards such as BS, NFPA/NEC, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, API, and ASI.
• Monitor site installation works and ensure that testing, commissioning, and quality assurance activities are properly implemented.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical, and architectural engineers, to ensure seamless project integration.
• Conduct site inspections, issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) when necessary, and verify corrective actions.
• Provide technical support to project teams during all project stages, from design review through to completion and handover.
• Ensure all electrical systems are designed and executed efficiently, safely, and within project timelines and budgets.

Qualifications And Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering projects of similar size and complexity.
• Proven experience in site supervision, construction management, and quality control/assurance.
• Strong knowledge of authorities’ requirements, regulations, and practices within the region.
• In-depth understanding of industry codes and standards, including BS, NFPA/NEC, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, API, and ASI.
• Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Language Proficiency Requirements:

• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required.

Knowledge And Functional Competencies:

• Strong understanding of electrical systems design, site execution, and commissioning.
• Familiarity with quality management procedures and health and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in engineering and project management tools/software.
