IT Systems Administrator

This is a Salary Exempt position with a salary range of $50,000 - $55,000.

• Troubleshooting:  Diagnose and resolve basic network connectivity problems.
• Monitoring:  Tracking network performance indicators like uptime, latency, packet loss, and hardware utilization using monitoring tools.
• Hardware and Software:  Assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
• Documentation:  Contributing to the documentation of network configurations and procedures.
• Learning and Development:  Self-motivated to learn and gain practical experience in network technologies.
• Security:  Assisting with implementing and maintaining basic network security measures.
• Collaboration:  Working with other IT professionals and users to address network issues and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Education:  Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience desirable.
• Basic Networking Knowledge:  Understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and common network protocols.
• Troubleshooting Skills:  Ability to diagnose and resolve basic network problems.
• Communication:  Good communication skills to interact with other IT professionals and users.
• Technical Skills:  Familiarity with network hardware and software, including routers, switches, wireless access points and network monitoring tools.
• Certifications:  CompTIA Network+, or Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Required. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred.
