As a Product Operating Model Lead - Executive Director, you will lead innovation through the development of strategic initiatives and frameworks spanning an organization of Product, Technology, Design and Data. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams to create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Define and continuously refine a multi-year product operating model strategy—grounded in customer needs, competitive analysis, and Global Banking objectives—to deliver differentiated, measurable value
- Spearheads high-impact initiatives and projects to address complex challenges identified by senior leadership, driving transformative solutions
- Understand and analyze product data and insights, along with provide coaching and guidance to teams to increase maturity
- Proactively monitors industry trends, producing insightful reports and analyses that inform and influence strategic direction, shared with the broader team and senior executives
- Leads the preparation of executive governance materials, ensuring comprehensive and strategic alignment across the team, and facilitating informed decision-making at the highest levels
- Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities
- Manage a team of direct reports, providing leadership, mentorship, and career development opportunity drive high performance and engagement
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 8+ years of experience in product management, strategy, or related fields
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience using product management tools and methodologies. Proven experience with data analysis, market research techniques, and product analytics platforms
- Exceptional leadership & communication skills to drive change within organizations, manage stakeholders across multiple functions, lead cross-functional teams and drive products from conception to launch
- Outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product development and change management for high-impact and large-scale organizations
- Proven ability to lead large-scale operational effectiveness initiatives
- Proven ability to lead a team operating within the product development life cycle and agile methodologies
- Outstanding interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively across functional teams with the ability to communicate and engage people at scale
- Demonstrated prior experience delivering value at scale and influencing across highly matrixed and complex organizations
- Hands-on experience with product analytics platforms; proficiency in Qlik and Tableau is highly desirable.
