Staff Position Description

- Reports to: CBO Cash Applications Supervisor Exempt Status: No
Per Diem: Must work a minimum of six (6) shifts in six (6) weeks and up to a maximum of 19 hours per week
Position Purpose:

Key Responsibilities [List of material responsibilities and essentials duties which must be completed in achieving the objectives of the position]
- Sort and distribute mail to appropriate departments, retaining all insurance checks
- Retains mail returns and performs skip trace process
- Opens Credit Counselors mail and prepares it for contact
- Per the direction of the supervisor- reviews, prices, and prepares payment to physicians according to the Self pay/Consulting agreement
- General office tasks to assist the credit counselors on a as needed basis
- Processes ad-hoc requests for assistants with projects and other duties efficiently with the end in mind
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: One (1) year experience in an office setting

- Regularly needs to bend, stoop and reach to file and organize files
- Ability to lift 11 to 25 pounds of files to storage area when necessary
- Ability to remain on feet for long periods of time while filing and sorting mail
- Ability to deal with clients/customers in a calm and effective manner
