The Division of Occupational Medicine is seeking candidates with expertise in the treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses.
The Division of Occupational Medicine evaluates patients across a variety of specialized populations and in many cases, coordinates specialty care at Mayo Clinic for treatment of complex injuries, as appropriate. Physicians from the Division partner with case managers and employers to provide a comprehensive evaluation of work-place injuries including work-related restrictions and determination of maximal medical improvement.
This position will involve patient care on the Florida campus. An interest in academic pursuits, including peer-reviewed publications, clinical or epidemiologic research, practice innovation, and quality improvement are encouraged but not required.
Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Occupational Medicine. Additional board certification or prior training in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is beneficial.
