Overview
The Vice President, Legal Technologies Sales Americas will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients.
- Achieving and exceeding individual and team revenue targets.
- Initiating and developing relationships with potential key accounts.
- Promoting the company’s value proposition for all services, proactively anticipating any issues with any service and collaborating on effective resolutions.
- Focused on maximising team performance, motivation and potential.
- Ensuring that performance and quality standards are maintained in line with best practice, procedures, priorities and schedules.
- Promoting the KLDiscovery values.
Budget Management.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies, including identifying new opportunities and overseeing bespoke initiatives.
- Leading by example to manage the sales team, including hiring, training, and developing talent.
- Coaching, developing and mentoring direct reports and ensuring processes are in place to develop team members and drive retention.
- Continuously analyze market trends, sales performance, and competitor activities to refine strategies and processes.
- Work with leadership to forecast business performance on monthly, quarterly, and annual bases.
- Foster strong relationships at all levels, both internally and externally:
- Maintain and grow key account relationships
- Liaise with overseas business development teams on global account initiatives
- Collaborate with all department heads to ensure customer expectations are met
- Optimize sales processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee the creation and enhancement of solutions that align with client, departmental, and company needs.
- Ensure effective promotion of the Legal Technologies brand at appropriate events through team efforts.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations to upper management.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to support sales objectives and meet client expectations.
- Maintain and grow key account relationships
- Liaise with overseas business development teams on global account initiatives
- Collaborate with all department heads to ensure customer expectations are met
Business Travel Requirements
- Travel in the US will be required.
What You Will Bring To The Role
- Strong educational background preferred.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential; a secondary European language is advantageous.
- Significant track record of success in business development and account management across Europe, operating at a similar level of seniority.
- Demonstrated experience of building and maintaining strong, commercial relationships with senior stakeholders, internally and externally to successfully accomplish goals.
- Proven experience of managing highly successful teams. Able to motivate others to perform at maximum efficiency whilst maintaining quality standards.
- Direct knowledge and/or experience in litigation, regulatory investigations/disputes, insolvency, competition and anti-trust law is required. An understanding of Electronic Discovery software tools is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent written ability; extensive experience of producing presentations, proposals and reports for senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to proactively and independently resolve complex issues.
- Strong computer skills with a good working knowledge of customer relationship management software.
- Strong knowledge of the concepts, principles, management and processing of electronically stored information (ESI) as they relate to legal matters.
- Extensive knowledge of the use of hosted discovery management applications and tools.

Individual compensation will vary, although a reasonable estimate of the current annualized base pay range for this position is $200,000 to $240,000 and revenue incentive bonus eligible.
