This is a Temporary Work Assignment with a 12-month time duration.
The successful candidate will be passionate about managing and influencing efficient and positive changes on processes, collaborating across multiple workstreams and partners. Being able to prioritize key tasks, identify risks for the operations.
Responsibilities But Not Limited To:
- Lead a team of professionals in a fast paced, dynamic and positive environment.
- Execute on the change management of Enterprise initiatives.
- Ensure new processes are within Governance control and meet all regulatory requirements.
- Drive, Plan, and Track implementations of processes, procedures and policies.
- Manage change in a fast-moving environment.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to many different constituency groups.
- Successfully manage partner and stakeholder relationships.
- Analyze data trends and provide insights relative to operational improvements, governance needs, and collections efficiency impacts
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of personnel within AXP and our Partners.
- Supervise and improve processes related to third party service to minimize financial risks and to ensure corporate reputation remains intact.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Roles at this level require significant functional and proven experience and expertise, as they are encouraged to be subject area specialists in multiple specific skill sets, business areas or products.
- 2+ years’ experience in Project Management or Configuration projects that involve more than 2 lines of business.
- Skilled in managing complex project timelines with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and innovatively yet drive tactical execution through collaborative team efforts.
- Proven experience that demonstrates collaboration and problem solving with cross functional teams to build thoughtful insights that enable decision making and actions to be taken.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in an operational support function, such as Global Servicing learning, MIS, etc.
- Strong communication skills to interact with and influence effectively Senior Leaders and business partners.
- Ability to make decisions quickly and effectively with strong customer orientation and governance orientation.
Minimum Qualifications
AXP employees will maintain their current salary and may be eligible for a completion bonus at the end of the temporary work assignment. The completion bonus is up to 5% base salary for laterals in band and up to 10% base salary for stretch assignments. The completion bonus amount will also be pro-rated to reflect the length of the assignment.
