Scheduled: Mon - Fri 7-11am or 8-12/9-1pm UK GMT
Job Description: You’ll be the right hand to a dynamic business owner, taking ownership of essential administrative tasks that free them to focus on strategic growth. This role offers the perfect blend of variety and responsibility – from organizing financial documents to managing client communications across multiple platforms. You’ll work directly with the business owner in a supportive environment where your contributions have immediate impact and where you’ll grow from handling basic tasks to potentially managing full client communications as you learn the business voice and tone.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritize email communications through Microsoft systems, progressing from sorting to independent responses
- Coordinate calendar management and arrange travel bookings including hotels and logistics
- Process receipts and invoices in QuickBooks to prepare organized materials for accounting review
- Monitor social media platforms and respond to comments and direct messages professionally
- Create presentations and basic content using Canva templates and brand guidelines
- Manage task allocation and project tracking through Monday.com platform
- Conduct research and maintain organized digital filing systems
- Follow up with current and potential clients as directed
- Provide general administrative support for daily business operations
- Handle document organization and data entry tasks as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience with administrative support and office management tasks
- Proficiency with QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping and invoice organization
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft email and calendar systems (Outlook)
- Experience with Monday.com or similar project management platforms
- Basic design skills using Canva for content creation and presentations
- Social media platform experience for monitoring and professional responses
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently while following detailed instructions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Bonus if you have experience working with UK-based clients or businesses
