Wage: $22.00$25.00/HR

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Armed Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Armed Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent. Officer will be either in a patrol vehicle or posted at a specific entrance on the campus for access control.

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older. 
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift. 
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. 
• Candidate will be required to pass IPAT, NRA class, and obtain Armed KCMO guard card.
• Must have minimum 12 months armed experience, military, or law enforcement. 
• Site requires MVR as it’s a driving post. 
• Must be able to use Vision.
