Summary:
We are looking for a Test Publishing Quality Assurance (TPQA) role to join our team. Our custom teacher licensure testing programs are aligned to state and national standards. We also provide a wide variety of teacher licensure testing services such as test development, administration, and scoring. We work in a collaborative environment and are passionate about education.
The Test Publishing Quality Assurance (TPQA) role is on the staff of the Test Construction and Publishing (TCP) group. This individual works as a member of the Test Construction and Publishing (TCP) group with other Quality Assurance staff, Test Publishers, and team leaders to produce content rich databases that support computer-based tests. In this role, you’ll apply your proven skills of quality control to a wide range of materials. You’ll support multiple projects simultaneously to meet client-driven deadlines in our collaborative environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensures accuracy of the content as it is handled throughout the materials production process
- Performs various quality control checks, such as item accounting and item formatting
- Performs various technical checks including cross referencing documentation to the functionality and navigation of the computer-based exam and the results files
- Maintains accurate, up-to-date work plans and tracking logs; provides status to management
- Works collaboratively with associates to meet client driven deadlines
Skills And Qualifications:
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with proven quality control skills, and in addition:
- Superior attention to detail
- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft systems/software (Outlook, Word, Excel), PDF software, file management, and computer/internet-based navigation; ability to master new technology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Experience with collaborative, team-based efforts
- Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously and coordinating the efforts of others to meet shared goals
- Bachelor's degree. Bachelor's degree in English preferred
- Copy-editing experience is a plus but not required
