Basic Job Functions:

Partner with business leaders to ensure staffing requirements are met to identify, attract, and onboard top talent to meet changing business needs efficiently and effectively. Provides assistance with the development of recruiting strategy and provides full cycle recruiting for the organization. This position will recruit for high level and highly technical positions.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field is required.
  • 6-8 years’ experience in full cycle recruiting is required.
  • 1-2 years of HR related experience is preferred.
  • Experience working in a corporate environment is required.

  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple, competing assignments in a dynamic environment, with the ability to be extremely flexible and adaptable.
  • Strong problem solving and presentation skills and able to gather, analyze, and report performance data.
  • Strong negotiation and consultative skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Experienced in using applicant-tracking systems, Oracle experience preferred.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Leads full cycle recruitment for assigned departments and/or requisitions. 
  • Conducts in-depth recruitment consultations with the hiring managers.
  • Posts the position and sourcing candidates.
  • Conducts phone screens and evaluating the KSA of the candidate for the job.
  • Coordinates phone interviews for the hiring manager.
  • Recommends in person interviews for the hiring manager.
  • Completes interview debriefs with hiring managers and all members of interview committee.
  • Prepares all offer letters accurately and correctly and sends out offer packets to all new hires.
  • Partners with HR and Compensation to offer competitive compensation packages and facilitate negotiation with candidates.
  • Leverages various resources - internet, community organizations, print media, formal/informal networks, colleges, trade associations - to directly and indirectly source qualified candidates.
  • Conducts cold calls to prospects based on online and offline research.
  • Engages new prospects, builds lasting relationships, and sustains a candidate network of active and passive candidates for interest and suitability for current and future talent requirements.
  • Is responsible for using an applicant tracking systems and maintaining up to date candidate information.
  • Is responsible for ensuring all facets of the pre-employment process which includes data entry of background checks and verifying our standards, drug and alcohol testing, manager and HR notifications are made and all necessary paperwork is received for each candidate hired.
  • Maintains consistent standards for all applicants and ensures compliance with all local rules and regulations related to hiring and recruiting.
  • Promotes the Company image to candidates and external service providers and ensures that the Company is represented in the most accurate and appropriate way to all candidates and personally drives the highest standards of ethical behavior for all involved in the recruiting process.
  • Works across different time zones to support hiring needs globally, this will include working outside of standard office hours.
  • Trains new hires and helps develop internal talent acquisition talent.
  • Actively participate in all areas of Talent Management

Reporting Relationships:

  • This position will not have direct reports.

Travel:

  • 5% - 10%
  • If hired during plant start up, you will be expected to travel to other First Solar locations for training.

Estimated Salary Range:

  • $82,100-$117,000 annually
