Summary

We are looking for a Salesforce Software Engineer with strong skills in customization, configuration, and system optimization to support the maintenance of a custom Salesforce configurator during a short-term engagement. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing existing Salesforce functionality, managing configuration updates, and ensuring the stability and efficiency of internal applications.

You are a hands-on professional with a solid understanding of the Salesforce platform, combining both technical and functional knowledge to deliver scalable, well-documented solutions. You collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, provide support to internal stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, Administrator, or Technical Consultant.
• Proven experience in maintaining and enhancing Salesforce custom applications or internal tools.

Required Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Salesforce customization and configuration, including Objects, Fields, Workflows, Validation Rules, Process Builder, and Flows.
• Experience developing and maintaining Apex Classes, Triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) for custom functionality.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, including Profiles, Roles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules.
• Familiarity with Salesforce data model, SOQL, and integration using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with Change Sets, Salesforce CLI, or DevOps tools for deployments and environment management.
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub).
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize configuration and code for performance and maintainability.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with Salesforce CPQ or similar configuration tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint-based delivery.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines within Salesforce environments.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, or TypeScript for LWC enhancements.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification preferred.
