  • Experience with capacity planning or forecasting.
  • Experience in data analytics and scenario planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in management consulting, capacity planning, or strategic operations planning.
  • 2 years of experience in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in collaborating and influencing stakeholders spanning across multiple organizations and different levels of responsibilities.
  • Experience with detailed analysis and big picture thinking and customizing communication based on the audience.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a member of the Data Center (DC) demand and allocation planning - Cloud team, you will be responsible for helping wrangle the capacity plans for our global Cloud portfolio, ensuring we have the right data center space and power, in the right places, at the right times to meet our growing demand. You will partner extensively with cross-cutting teams to support new region launches, new products, and the intersection of Cloud and ML to drive continued uptake of AI products worldwide. You will be responsible for helping manage end to end development, delivery, and upkeep of our capacity plans for Cloud.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Contribute in the development, maintenance, and presentation of a worldwide capacity plan for our Cloud portfolio.
  • Coordinate, wrangle, and perform robust data analysis to guide cross-functional decision-making by partners.
  • Guide asset acquisition decisions by partner teams to support region growth, new region launches.
  • Drive continued progress toward key strategic initiatives such as zone isolation and AI remote zones.
  • Manage trade-offs between multiple competing priorities, raising clear analysis and guidance to leadership to drive decisions.
