Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing initiatives for hardware products.
  • Experience with form factor PCB/PCBA manufacturing technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with thermal evacuation assembly technologies (e.g., liquid cooling, vapor chambers, heat pipes, etc.).
  • Experience in driving manufacturing technology development efforts during NPI on hardware products for data centers.

You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will be part of a team that is responsible for releasing Google’s hardware to mass production and developing a supply chain to deliver it. You will be responsible for leading the New Technology Introduction (NTI) process, ensuring the ongoing development and maintenance of critical technology roadmaps, sensing current technology trends, and providing technical knowledge and leadership for the delivery of approaches and processes for product development efforts.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead New Technology Introduction (NTI) process, ensuring the execution of enabling manufacturing, test, and other key technologies in advance of New Product Introduction (NPI) development roadmaps.
  • Work with functional stakeholders to refine and document NTI process flows, policies, roles, and responsibilities per the requirements of the business.
  • Lead the delivery and maintenance of a portfolio of key technologies to enable advanced product designs. 
  • Push the boundaries of existing technologies and processes with supply chain partners.
  • Lead critical test vehicle builds to validate design of experiments (DOEs) for manufacturing/test process parameter development.
