Job Description:
Lead senior and junior data scientist team to create models for a variety of healthcare-related solutions. Participate in the development, validation and delivery of algorithms, statistical models and reporting tools using healthcare data. Solve complex analytical problems with healthcare domain knowledge and strong technical background. Develop, validate and execute algorithms and predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns and recommend solutions. Explore, examine and interpret large volumes of data in various forms. Perform analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve complex business problems utilizing advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses. Develop data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data that help generate insights and address reporting needs. Use data visualization techniques to effectively communicate analytical results and to support business decisions. Create and evaluate the data needs of assigned projects and assure the integrity of the data. Document projects including business objectives, data gathering and processing, detailed set of results and analytical metrics. Position may require travel to various and unanticipated workplaces throughout the U.S. Telecommuting is permitted.

Job Requirements:
Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Epidemiology, or a directly related field plus three (3) years of Experience in Programming and analytic experience in study design and methodologies within healthcare domains. Must have two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Healthcare domains and healthcare data (e.g. claims, EHR, etc); R, Python, SAS, Pyspark, SQL, Advanced MS excel, and Tableau; Hadoop, Azure, or Databricks; Applying econometrical/psychological/sociological research methods such as survey design, experimental design, causal inference to healthcare analytics; Cloud computation with healthcare data; Working with healthcare large data sets from multiple data sources; Data modeling, machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, data engineering and data visualization; Handling client requests, requirements and challenges in healthcare domains; Bridging clinical team and data team for various healthcare projects. Employer will also accept a doctorate degree plus two (2) years of experience in the Programming and analytic experience in study design and methodologies within healthcare domains in lieu of a Master’s degree plus three (3) years of experience in the Programming and analytic experience in study design and methodologies within healthcare domains.
40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary range: $170,000 to $173,000 per year.
