- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
- Help run food from the kitchen to the tables.
- Take care of entering and delivering In-Room-Dining orders throughout the hotel.
- Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, service, appropriate wines, and food preparation.
- Memorize menu selections and wines, including being familiar with daily specials and basic ingredients.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Friendly, professional attitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods and carry trays or plates.
- Knowledge of POS systems is a plus.
- Certification in food safety and responsible alcohol service (TABC license required).
