Description

JPI is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage projects from initiation through closure, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. The Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, oversee schedules and budgets, and ensure compliance with TMX-PIO’s project management methodologies and stakeholder expectations.

This role requires U.S. Citizenship for Clearance eligibility and an onsite presence at the USCG St. Elizabeths campus three days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets aligned with USCG stakeholder requirements.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, establishing goals, objectives, and priorities to ensure project success.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to minimize potential impacts.
  • Monitor and report project progress, providing accurate updates on status, issues, and changes to USCG stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with established project management standards, methodologies, and best practices, including quality and risk management processes.
  • Communicate project updates clearly and proactively, including recommendations for corrective action when needed.
  • Maintain organized and compliant project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned, in accordance with TMX-PIO policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multiple concurrent projects successfully.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with federal or government stakeholders preferred.
  • PMP or other relevant project management certification (preferred).
