The Role
As the Marketing Coordinator for The Indigo Road Restaurant Group, you are expected to support marketing initiatives and activities across The Indigo Road’s portfolio of restaurants and hotels.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist in the coordination and execution of marketing initiatives, campaigns, and events across multiple properties.
- Maintain regular communication with restaurant and hotel teams to gather updates on hours, promotions, events, and marketing needs.
- Participate in regular in-person and/or virtual meetings to share updates and support property teams.
- Help prepare marketing materials, presentations, and reports for leadership and ownership meetings.
- Support ongoing communication with on-property leadership to identify upcoming changes, events, business needs, and opportunities for promotion.
- Assist with monthly reporting and performance tracking for each location.
- Coordinate and provide on-site support for photo shoots, events, and advertising initiatives.
- Assist with copywriting for digital channels, print materials, and promotional assets.
- Support the execution of the brand’s social media strategy, including content scheduling, coordination with on-site teams, and engagement monitoring.
- Qualifications:
- Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage timelines across several projects.
- Proficiency with social media platforms, content management tools, and Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
- Interest in hospitality, food & beverage, and storytelling through marketing.
Requirements For Success:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, social media, hospitality or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn) and their unique features, algorithms, and audiences.
- Able to manage a wide variety of people in a very faced paced setting.
- Proficient in WordPress, InDesign, Adobe Suite, Hoot Suite, Canva and similar platforms
- Proven ability to create engaging and creative social content, both polished and scrappy.
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to adapt to Indigo Road’s bold, playful tone of voice as well as the voices for multiple brands.
- The ability to travel independently as needed for site visits and content creation.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills to interpret social media metrics and adjust strategies based on data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, required.
- Flexible to work nights and weekends when necessary.

Physical Requirements:
- Constant standing/walking
- Occasional stooping, kneeling or crawling
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps
- Constant computer/phone usage
- Must be able to speak, read and understand basic directions
- Able to stand for long periods of time, stoop, lift a minimum of 45 lbs., and work in a variety of temperatures
- Ability to travel 25% of the time.
- Able to drive up to 8 hours at a time.
- Able to be flexible when business demands.
- Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine
