  • Position: Area Manager
  • Location: Multiple LIHTC Residential Communities – Columbus, OH
  • Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, with flexible scheduling as needed

Pay Rate: $85,000 - $90,000 per year, plus bonus potential

What You'Ll Do:

  • Lead with Impact: Serve as the key liaison between LIHTC property owners and onsite teams, fostering clear communication and alignment to achieve shared goals.
  • Shape the Future: Oversee all aspects of community operations, ensuring compliance with objectives, standards, and budgetary goals.
  • Build a Winning Team: Interview, hire, onboard, and train office and regional support staff. You'll be a key player in shaping a high-performing team.
  • Drive Financial Success: Create and approve community budgets, monitor financial performance, and help maximize revenue through effective resource management.
  • Be a Key Advisor: Conduct regular property visits to provide guidance, mentor Community Managers, and ensure properties are in top condition.
  • Take Charge of Growth: Manage renovation and capital expenditure projects that enhance the property’s value and appeal.

Qualifications:

  • College degree in a related field (Business Administration, Communications, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of LIHTC compliance and property management experience.
  • Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) designation preferred.
  • Proficient in LIHTC compliance, real estate laws, business math, and tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Yardi.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory experience.
