Purpose
As the Director of Sales at Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel, you will lead all sales efforts for meeting spaces, groups, rooms, and F&B/Banquets, overseeing the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation to execution. Collaborating with the Director of Hotel Operations, Director of Food & Beverage, and Banquet Manager, you will ensure that every guest experience is exceptional. Your role will involve strategic market expansion, client relationship management, and leveraging marketing partnerships to drive revenue growth and enhance market presence.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- Proactive Sales Initiatives: Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to generate leads and attract new business across all segments, including meeting spaces, groups, and F&B/Catering.
- Full Sales Lifecycle Management: Manage the complete sales process, including lead generation, client engagement, proposal development, contract negotiation, and execution of BEOs and room blocks.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with Hotel Operations, Food & Beverage, Marketing, Entertainment, and support divisions to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services.
- Event Planning Support: Provide expert advice on event planning, logistics, scheduling, and the use of casino and hotel facilities.
- Sales Coordination: Manage event logistics, communication, and space walk-throughs to ensure flawless execution.
- Market Analysis and Expansion: Continuously analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing department to effectively showcase the hotel's products and services.
- Online Distribution Management: Manage online distribution channels to enhance sales strategies and maximize reach.
- Performance Metrics: Regularly track and report on sales performance metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Budget and Revenue Management: Develop and manage the sales budget, focusing on cost control while maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Industry Representation: Represent the casino and hotel at industry events to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education And Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field. An additional two (2) years of applicable experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Five (5) years of experience as a sales manager within the hospitality or casino industry. Experience in Tribal Gaming, Four Diamond or above-rated property preferred.
- Proven track record in sales, particularly in group or event sales within the hospitality industry.
- Experience in contract negotiation and event planning.

Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
