We are considering applicants for our Los Angeles, CA location.

You will manage a delivery services team, that is the enterprise servicing hub. You will oversee all aspects of outbound delivery packages across all lines of business (EST, GCD, SVOD etc). Using vendor partners you will manage the quality and on-time delivery of materials to our internal platform and 3rd party clients.

You will also be a communication bridge between our materials & production teams, our vendors, and our sales & distribution teams. You will be an agent of change who is a leading voice when new systems and processes are adopted. Your years of experience in the area of media servicing allow you to lead your team and to support the growth of our company.

Responsibilities

  • Team management
  • Work with team leads to understand their needs
  • Lead your teams through change
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are running smoothly
  • Mentor and coach team members
  • Roll out information and new standards to the teams
  • Manage projects across teams
  • Understand what's on time or not, and escalating to necessary parties
  • Manage complex priorities and communicate with stakeholders to correctly position each project in your teams' work queues.
  • Set up tracking and reporting to ensure success and enable proactive communication with stakeholders.
  • Future planning and authoring standard operating procedures
  • Work with team leaders to document SOPs for their workflows and give advice when improvements can be made.
  • Highlight to your leadership when changes may be advantageous
  • Understand the contextual value of improvements to the overall supply chain.
  • Subject matter expert for servicing best practices and client specs/deliverables.
  • Subject matter expert in the area of servicing and fulfillment for system development
  • Write POs/manage payments across all vendor-managed projects.
  • Liaise with partner teams
  • Always take the lead to communicate with your peers across departments so everyone is on the same page.
  • Anticipate problems and work with partners to get in front of them.
  • Collaborate to understand the full impact of decisions on partner teams.
  • Consider how to improve the overall functioning of the supply chain.
  • Manage OKRs, metrics and post-mortems across the teams.
  • Set goals for each team leader and for the subtitling group generally and holding everyone accountable for success.
  • Highlight successes & volumes to management
  • Use data to help drive efficiency
  • Lead post-mortems across teams to help avoid repeating mistakes
  • Work with team leads to understand their needs

You will report to the SVP, Business Transformation and Operations.

We are considering applicants for the location of Los Angeles.

About You

  • 12+ years of related experience in the media servicing landscape.
  • Experience leading a team that manages clients across many lines of business.
  • Experienced communicator
  • Cultural awareness and ability to problem solve complex and global challenges.
  • Passion for Anime, Japanese culture, and the Entertainment industry.
  • Familiarity with anime, pop culture, and current entertainment.
  • Computer Proficiency: Microsoft Office, PowerPoint or Keynote, Google Suite, Outlook, and Internet
  • Bachelor's degree in Media, Business, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience working in entertainment, servicing, or production-related roles.
  • Travel as required

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
