Job Summary
We are hiring a Flight Standards Safety and Compliance Administrator whose primary responsibility is to support the Flight Training Program Managers (FTPM), Flight Standards, and Flight Operations. This support is mainly through flight training record management, supporting team with regulatory audits, memo drafting, aviation regulatory research support, and process improvement recommendations. This role will require attention to detailed and a basic understanding of FAA regulatory requirements concerning flight training.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Receive and process flight training records in a timely manner.
- Audit and ensure flight training records meet aviation regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support to FTPM research, document draft and reviewing.
- Assists FTPM with surveillance of training programs.
- Assist Flight Standards in communication and paperwork filing with aviation regulators.
- Assist in drafting and issuing memos, policy and procedural documents.
- Travel requirements may be up to 5% of time, must have the ability to travel internationally.
- Manage the Flight Standards email shared inbox
- Manage PRD on behalf of Flight Standards
- Providing routine reports on Flight Operations and Training records.

- Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, administration or flight training, or two years of equivalent work experience.
- Have experience in an aviation field, preferably flight operations.
- Ability to plan around and meet specific deadlines.
- Have problem solving and analytical skills.
- Have knowledge of safety management systems.
- Report using clear and concise language.
