Are you passionate about crafting the perfect cup of coffee and providing exceptional customer service? We're seeking an enthusiastic Barista to join our team in Caloundra, Australia. As a key member of our café, you'll be responsible for creating delightful coffee experiences for our valued customers.

• Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, filter coffee, and speciality brews
• Greet customers warmly and take orders with a friendly, professional demeanour
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to food safety standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations during busy periods
• Assist in stock management and inventory control
• Stay informed about coffee trends and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills
• Contribute to a positive work environment and support team goals

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Barista, with expertise in crafting quality espresso-based beverages
• Strong knowledge of various coffee brewing methods and current industry trends
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
• Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues
• Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and transactions
• Food safety awareness and commitment to maintaining a hygienic work environment
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required
• Passion for coffee and eagerness to continually learn and improve barista skills
