The Data Operations Center of Excellence (CoE) is a cross- functional team responsible for defining and executing KKR’s enterprise data management strategy while providing the operational leverage needed to bring these frameworks to life.

We are seeking a Manager within the Data Operations CoE to lead Business Intelligence (BI) Data Solutions. This individual will act as a strategic data partner to various KKR teams and functions, ensuring that all BI solutions are accurate, scalable, and aligned with KKR’s data and reporting standards.
The BI Manager will lead a team of data professionals, serving as both a hands-on problem solver and a mentor. This role will involve diagnosing complex data and reporting challenges, designing innovative solutions, and guiding the team in executing high-quality, sustainable deliverables.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence
  • Build and maintain production-grade data apps and dashboards (Power BI, Sigma, Streamlit) for portfolio, performance, and expense analytics.
  • Translate business needs into clear dataset and reporting requirements; document use cases, data contracts, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to define common, reusable data models and semantic layers that scale across funds, products, and teams.
  • Design and implement complex SQL data models and ELT logic to power automated investor reporting and operational KPIs.
  • Deliver advanced analytics use cases (e.g., KKR Expense Analysis) end-to-end — including scoping, prototyping, data wrangling, model design, visualization, testing, and deployment.
  • Establish robust reporting operations, including version control, refresh schedules, data quality checks, and access governance.
  • Execute ad-hoc data projects within tight deadlines, effectively communicating trade-offs, risks, and progress to stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering teams to support and recommend enhancements for digital reporting capabilities and data platform tools.
• Communicate and coordinate with relevant teams to identify and close data gaps in a clear, structured, and timely manner.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for data-related queries and updates from internal and external stakeholders, delivering ad-hoc analytics to address key business questions promptly.
• Drive and manage the end-to-end delivery of BI and data initiatives — from scoping and prioritization to execution — ensuring clear ownership, accountability, and measurable business impact.

  • Reporting & Governance
  • Design and document standard operating procedures for data management
  • Implement and own best in class data governance practices; ensuring that data is well defined & transparently documented

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 6 years of data-intensive experience within the financial services industry.
• Experience in a multinational financial services organization and/or private equity environment preferred.

• Advanced analytical and data visualization skills using tools such as Power BI, Sigma Computing, and Python Streamlit (Python proficiency preferred).
• Exceptional SQL expertise (Snowflake preferred) with deep data knowledge and hands-on ability to develop solutions across multiple platforms; programming experience in Python is a strong plus.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrates outstanding initiative, accountability, and a strong work ethic.
• Focused on delivery excellence with a commitment to measurable outcomes.
• Highly collaborative team player who builds strong relationships with both local and global colleagues.
