This role places you at the intersection of technology, market strategy, and influence.You’ll be the bridge between Swave and the AR ecosystem — understanding, engaging, and shaping the community that will bring holographic display technology to life.
Your Mission
As Swave’s Technical Product Marketing Manager, you are both a technologist and market strategist. You will infiltrate and represent Swave within the AR industry — learning from it, influencing it, and positioning our holographic technology as foundational to its future.
You’ll craft compelling narratives that connect our technology to real-world applications, identify new business opportunities, and rapidly assess their potential. You’ll also serve as a public-facing ambassador, representing Swave at key industry events and standards bodies while continuously feeding back insights to shape our roadmap.
What You Will Do
- Be Swave’s voice and vision in the AR ecosystem: represent us in industry associations, technical committees, and innovation clusters to influence direction and build relationships.- Understand and demonstrate our technology: engage with customers, partners, and developers to explain how Swave’s holographic chips unlock new experiences.- Translate complex technology into impact: craft compelling messaging, demos, and content that communicate the power of holography to technical and business audiences.- Monitor and analyze the market: track trends, competitors, and emerging players to position Swave strategically and identify white-space opportunities.- Develop new business ideas: propose, validate, and structure business cases for potential collaborations, licensing models, or market entries.- Collaborate across teams: work closely with the Chief Product Officer, Technical Product Manager, and R&D leaders and partners to ensure market needs and technology align.- Shape perception: drive Swave’s public narrative across web, events, PR, and presentations — ensuring clarity, consistency, and excitement.- Inform strategic decisions: transform market data and technical insights into actionable recommendations for product direction and business strategy.
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who combines technical credibility, business acumen, and storytelling ability:
-Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.- Experience: 8+ years in product marketing, technical business development, or product strategy in semiconductors, optics, AR/VR, or deeptech.- Technical fluency: you can explain and demonstrate complex hardware and system architectures to both engineers and executives.- Market savvy: deep understanding (or strong curiosity) for the AR/VR, display, or spatial computing ecosystem.- Strategic thinker: ability to develop new business ideas and quickly assess risks, costs, and market potential.- Strong communicator: skilled at turning technology into compelling narratives, presentations, and visual materials.- Connector: comfortable representing Swave externally, building partnerships, and influencing industry direction.- Collaborative and curious: you thrive on working across engineering, marketing, and executive teams in a fast-paced environment.- Language: fluent in English (spoken and written).
