At Ardurra, the Recruiter/Talent Sourcer role is a blend of a strategic and detailed hands-on role responsible for applying and participating in enhancing talent acquisition solutions that align with our growing organization’s goals and supporting our culture as a great work environment. Our Recruiters work in a collaborative culture, identifying and delivering high performing candidates within the A/E/C industry.
Primary Function
We’re ideally looking for a Talent Acquisition professional with a blend of corporate and agency experience. The ideal candidate is confident and skilled in engaging both warm and cold prospects through phone calls, emails, and social media outreach. They should be proactive, personable, and comfortable navigating a fast-paced recruiting environment. Experience in professional services, engineering, architecture, or construction organizations will be highly valued.
Primary Duties
- Manage full life-cycle recruitment, including creating search strategies, actively sourcing candidates, pre-screening, interviewing and presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers, negotiating offers, and facilitating the hiring processes
- Involvement in all aspects of the hiring process, including hiring strategies, recruitment cycle timing, and guidance on best practices and sourcing trends
- Build relationships and communicate consistently and proactively throughout the recruitment process to ensure all participants in the hiring process are updated and well informed
- Create a positive candidate experience throughout the entire recruiting process
- Creation of offer letters and keeping candidate files updated
- Update and maintain administrative responsibilities such as applicant tracking system data entry and Excel reports
- Follows compliance standards throughout the hiring process
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 or more years of related experience or equivalent
- Solid experience recruiting for positions in Engineering strongly preferred (Water/Wastewater, Environmental, Structural or Civil preferred)
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and working within an ATS required
- Must have successful track record in sourcing passive candidates
- Creative sourcing techniques and cold calling experience required
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong relationship building and change management capabilities
- Ability to work independently as well as interdependently with others to deliver exceptional results. A driving interest to perform at the highest level, continually looking for better answers & new solutions
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, project management, communication, problem solving, and influence skills.
- Collaborative, experienced with supporting stakeholders and team members in a matrixed environment
- Passion for learning about competitors and applying insights to inform Talent Acquisition recommendations for our business
- Must prefer to be on a “winning team” as opposed to a comfortable routine that never changes
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Relationship builder and strong follow-up and follow-through
- Team player, collaborative with a “can-do” attitude
