The Job Details:
The Payroll Processor is responsible for managing and executing the payroll process within the company while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Calculate the wages or salaries of employees based on their hours worked, time taken off, bonuses, commissions, and any other relevant factors.
- Enter employee information, such as hours worked, tax withholding information, deductions, and other pertinent data into payroll software or systems accurately.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding payroll taxes, wage and hour laws, and other relevant legislation is crucial. This includes accurately calculating and withholding taxes, as well as ensuring timely payment of payroll taxes to the appropriate authorities.
- Maintaining accurate records of employee earnings, deductions, paid time off, and other relevant information is essential for payroll processing and for compliance purposes.
- Generating reports related to payroll expenses, tax liabilities, and other relevant metrics for management or accounting purposes.
- Addressing discrepancies or errors in payroll processing and working to resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner.
- Handling sensitive employee information with discretion and ensuring that payroll data is kept confidential and secure.

- Hourly Rate: $27.00-$29.00/hr.
What We Are Looking For:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or associate degree in finance/ accounting.
Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years in a Payroll/ Accounting environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with specific programs and software.
- Must demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- This role will require the need for a flexible schedule during specific periods throughout the year.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
