Your Role:

You will be joining the Data Science team within Life Science Supply Chain Advancement.  With deep operational experience and strong relationships across the organization, the Supply Chain Advancement team is well-positioned to quickly bring transformational AI/ML projects to life.  You will act as a product owner and help us to drive continuous improvements in operational efficiency through innovative applications of AI/ML.

This is a role focused on delivering practical, data-driven solutions.  You will help us drive projects in demand forecasting, inventory deployment, and production planning.  You will explore complex operational data and engineer new modelling features.  You will be constantly learning about supply chain operations and AI/ML.  Your focus must be on getting ideas tested, into production, and delivering results.

You enjoy exploring new ideas and technologies but are ultimately focused on delivering practical solutions.  You have broad technical experience and are comfortable adopting new technologies.  You are comfortable working with people at all levels of the organization and within a multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary environment.  You recognize the importance of solution adoption and have a basic understanding of change management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science or related field
• Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale analytic solutions
• At least 5 years of experience in an analytical or engineering role
• Previous experience working on ML applications, from build phase to production in a corporate environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree or Ph.D in Data Science, Computer Science or related field
• Strong business acumen and intellectual curiosity
• Practical experience with cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, Google
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, terabyte scale, datasets
• Proficiency with Python
• Comfortable reporting results to both technical and non-technical users
• Comfortable with the ambiguity of imperfect data

Location:

The Senior Data Scientist, Applied Machine Learning can be located from either our Burlington, MA or St. Louis, MO facility. We do require an onsite presence and offer a hybrid flexible work schedule.

Pay Range for this position: $103,600 – $145,400

Our ranges are derived from several sources, and largely reliant on relevant industry market data.
