Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join our Global Brand Marketing team. In this senior-level position, you'll play a crucial role in planning and executing marketing campaigns and contributing to growing CD PROJEKT RED’s brands in the country. You will be responsible for coordinating all marketing activations, as well as leading cooperation with external partners and distributors in Japan – all to make sure the support given to business is more strategic, more effective and more impactful.
Daily Responsibilities
- Develops comprehensive marketing strategies across Japan to enhance brand presence, drive engagement, and achieve business growth.
- Runs marketing activations and partnerships on the Japanese market (either hands-on or via outsource), ensuring alignment with Japanese audience expectations.
- Adopts global brand marketing strategy per local market and its needs.
- Ensures alignment with brand identity, global strategic objectives, and messaging guidelines.
- Proactively seeks opportunities to develop brand equity of CD PROJEKT RED brands in Japan.
- Monitors local trends, competitor activities, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Responsible for account management of key business partners, for example retail distributors, marketing & media agencies or local content creators.
- Works as the main point of contact for various CD PROJEKT RED departments, such as brand, creative, legal, PR, community, and production team in all Japan marketing-related projects.
Qualifications
- Experience in marketing roles, either within marketing departments or at agencies.
- Fluency in spoken and written Japanese and English.
- An excellent understanding of Japan's digital and retail ecosystem, social media platforms, and cultural trends.
- Proficiency in Google Suite/MS Office; familiarity with local analytics tools is a plus.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively.
- Proven problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying issues and devising efficient solutions.
- Interest in gaming, entertainment, or tech industries.

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Exposure to partnership management or influencer collaborations in Japan.

Working Mode
- Remote-First: this role is primarily remote, with occasional in-person collaboration at our local office space.
- Preferred place of work for this position: Tokyo metropolitan area
- You will be signing a service agreement with CD PROJEKT S.A. (the Polish entity).
