Mission đȘ
Our mission is to ensure that no one in the world has to suffer from a treatable skin disease because of an access issue ever again.
About Honeydew đ
Honeydew is building a platform for hundreds of millions of people globally to access expertise and science-backed skin treatments, from prescription to retail.
Our tech-forward dermatology experience helps people with chronic skin conditions access licensed specialists, FDA-approved treatment, and ongoing support in record time (24 hours vs an industry average of 6 months).
Honeydew is the future of skin health â digitally native, scientifically rooted, integrated end-to-end (evaluation + treatments + lab tests), and powered by AI.
Why This Role Matters
Weâre a consumer product that must feel effortless and humanâand a healthcare product that must be precise, compliant, and reliable. Youâll turn complex, regulated workflows into experiences that millions can navigate with confidence. This is a high-impact, zero-to-one role: youâll set the bar for product quality, design systems, and customer trust.
What YouâLl Do
- Own core journeys end-to-end: onboarding, evaluation/intake, image capture, asynchronous consults, lab flows, prescription and fulfillment, payments/subscription, refills/adherence, and results/education.
- Simplify complexity: translate insurance, pricing, and regulatory constraints (consents, Rx-only flows) into clear steps and plain language.
- Build a cohesive design system: foundations, components, accessibility, motion; scale across web, app, and care ops tools.
- Prototype fast, validate smarter: Figma prototypes, moderated/unmoderated tests, event instrumentation, and A/B tests to learn quickly.
- Partner deeply: work with Clinical, Care Ops, Growth, and Engineering to ship on schedule and measure outcomes.
- Champion quality: sweat microcopy, states, and edge cases; make âhard things obviousâ without losing warmth or brand.
- Build the function: establish rituals (critiques, research cadence, metrics reviews) and mentor contractors as we scale.
What Success Looks Like (Examples)
Youâll help drive measurable improvements across patient experience and team efficiency, such as:
- Higher retention (M1/M3), better treatment plan adherence, and improved NPS.
- Conversion rates from intake flows up 25%.
- Treatment delays down 30%; fewer support contacts and less customer confusion.
- A documented, accessible design system used across product and care ops.
What WeâRe Looking For
- 6+ years in product design with shipped consumer UX/UI; experience in healthcare or other regulated, workflow-heavy domains strongly preferred.
- Portfolio that shows systems thinking and crisp execution: youâve simplified multi-step flows into intuitive UI and moved key metrics.
- Strong product instincts for consumer health or subscription funnels: onboarding, paywalls, lifecycle, and engagement loops.
- Proficiency in Figma (components, variants, auto-layout), prototyping (high-fidelity clickthroughs), and usability testing.
- Comfort with data and research: define success metrics, run scrappy studies, collaborate on event schemas, and iterate quickly.
- Accessibility fluency (WCAG), content design chops, and strong visual craft.
- Low-ego collaborator who can alternate between IC execution and strategic thinking.
- Comfortable using and adapting across different tools (design, data, testing) â versatility and speed are key in our environment.
- Experience with or openness to AI tools and workflows; ideally someone who can experiment rapidly and use new technology to accelerate design work.
Nice To Have
