System Administrator Iii – Macd

About the Role
RedHelm is seeking an experienced System Administrator III – MACD to serve as a high-level technical resource and subject-matter expert. This role focuses on service and equipment deployments, Microsoft licensing, and advanced technical escalations. You’ll work closely with other System Administrators, providing guidance, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving process excellence across deployments and customer setups.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with deep experience in Microsoft Azure, MDM platforms, and device management. You’ll play a key role in optimizing system performance, ensuring smooth integrations, and mentoring junior administrators while supporting RedHelm’s mission to deliver elite solutions with integrity and precision.
What You’Ll Do
- Team & Queue Management: Monitor deployment queues to ensure timely responses and accurate scheduling. Review tickets for progress and quality, identify skill gaps, and provide technical coaching.
- Lead by Example: Model strong documentation practices and set the standard for ticketing etiquette and process compliance.
- Workstation Deployments: Develop and maintain deployment SOPs, ensure proper configuration of deployment tools, and mentor System Admin I–II team members.
- Escalation Management: Serve as the primary escalation point for Deployment-related issues. Resolve challenges promptly through cross-team collaboration and clear communication.
- Microsoft Licensing: Act as the internal SME for Microsoft licensing—supporting customer onboarding/offboarding, ensuring compliance, and recommending optimal licensing solutions.
- Internal Tool & System Deployments: Assist with the implementation of MDM platforms, Office 365, and other internal or customer-facing systems under Specialty Services.
- Reporting & Auditing: Support team and customer reporting, lead audits, and ensure adherence to established standards.
- Process Development: Create and enforce deployment processes and governance frameworks that align with compliance and business requirements.
- Solution Management: Coordinate with internal teams and customers to design and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices to enhance deployment efficiency and scalability.
What You’Ll Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). ITIL certification preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years in IT or a related field, including 2+ years in a lead technical capacity.

Compensation & Benefits
