At CesiumAstro, we are developers and pioneers of out-of-the-box communication systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms. We take pride in our dynamic and cross-functional work environment, which allows us to learn, develop, and engage across our organization. If you are looking for hands-on, interactive, and autonomous work, CesiumAstro is the place for you. We are actively seeking passionate, collaborative, energetic, and forward-thinking individuals to join our team.
We are looking to add a Test Technician Supervisor to our team. If you enjoy working in a startup environment and are passionate about testing leading-edge hardware and software for satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems, we would like to hear from you.
In this position, you will lead the daily operations of the Test Technician team responsible for executing production tests across multiple test areas — including ambient electrical testing, thermal vacuum (TVAC), vibration, shock, and antenna range testing. You will drive the throughput and quality of the production line in each test area, ensuring that all units are tested efficiently, safely, and in accordance with defined procedures. This role requires close coordination with Test Engineers, Manufacturing, and Quality to resolve issues, improve test processes, and maintain equipment readiness. The Test Technician team you lead performs hands-on testing of flight and production hardware, supporting both qualification and acceptance-level campaigns.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, proactive leader who can thrive in a fast-paced environment; balancing technical depth, operational excellence, and team development.

  • Train, mentor, and evaluate test technicians to build technical capability and ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards.
  • Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for test failures and process non-conformances.
  • Track and report key performance metrics such as test yields, equipment utilization, and line throughput to management.

Job Requirements And Minimum Qualifications
