Summary:
This position supports the business in the delivery of accurate, consistent, and timely financial statements and analytical reports. This position, supporting the finance team, requires some supervision with the ability to work independently, proactively improving the finance capabilities of the organization.
Essential Functions:
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Support billing and contract management activities through oversight activities, review of client contracts, and the systematic setup of billing terms
• Perform Accounts Payable functions, including but not limited to vouchering of invoices, overseeing invoice workflow approvals, maintaining vendor coding matrix, and vendor setup requests
• Perform cash application of electronic and lockbox payments
• Assist with special projects, including ad-hoc reporting requests from individuals at various levels within the organization
• Assists in the annual financial audit process.
• Actively participate in department work planning and goal setting
Skills:
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with US GAAP
- Proven team contributor with the motivation and desire to take on new challenges
- Excels in planning, organizing and prioritizing workload to meet deadlines
- Wears multiple hats and thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment
- Demonstrated ability in delivering process improvements within the Finance function

- High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with major in Accounting or Finance
- 1 to 4 years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role
- Experience working in MS Excel, specifically VLookup, SUMIF and Pivot Tables
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced skill level in MS Excel
- Experience with Deltek ERP system
- Experience in Accounts Payable

The salary range for this position is $65,000-$85,000 annually; the base pay offered may vary depending on location, experience, skills, relevant education, and training.
