Job Description

About the Role:
As our Inventory Control Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our daily operations—ensuring materials are received, organized, and ready for our Installation team to deliver beautiful, flawless results to our customers. Your attention to detail and proactive attitude will keep things running smoothly, even on the busiest days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect shipments: Unpack incoming materials, verify accuracy, and check for any damage or defects.
  • Disperse and organize inventory: Deliver items to their designated storage areas and maintain a clean, efficient workspace.
  • Maintain accurate records: Update inventory systems to reflect received dates, damaged goods, and current stock levels.
  • Collaborate with Installers: Provide quick, accurate, and friendly service to ensure they have the right materials when they need them.
  • Optimize organization: Continuously refine labeling, layout, and storage systems to improve workflow and efficiency.
  • Report and resolve issues: Communicate promptly about shortages, damaged items, or discrepancies to keep operations on track.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • A genuinely positive attitude and a service-first mindset.
  • Excellent computer skills (inventory software, Excel/Sheets, and general tech comfort).
  • The ability to stay calm and focused when things get hectic.
  • A natural instinct for organization and detail—you can spot what’s out of place instantly.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch.
  • Able to use communication by means of spoken word to express or exchange ideas.
  • Prolonged periods standing and moving.
  • Must be able to bend, squat, reach, stretch, and move frequently. 
  • Visual acuity is necessary to read labels and determine contents.
