We are looking for a Key Account Manager to lead customer relationships and commercial strategy across Consumer Goods and Pharma channels in Ecuador. This is a management position responsible for driving business growth, customer satisfaction, and flawless execution of commercial plans.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic business plans with key customers, driving sales, profit, and market share growth.
- Lead annual negotiations of trade terms, pricing, and promotional plans to ensure long-term partnerships and profitability.
- Manage account P&L and ensure delivery of sales and profitability objectives.
- Identify business opportunities in both consumer goods and pharma portfolios, leveraging data and insights to guide commercial decisions.
- Partner with Trade Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams to ensure execution excellence and compliance with all requirements.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, customer trends, and competitive activity to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders to ensure sustainable growth and customer satisfaction.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum +3 years of experience managing key accounts in consumer goods and/or pharmaceutical industries.
- Proven success in trade negotiations, P&L management, and commercial planning.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Able to work in a team setting and collaborate effectively.
- Open to learning opportunities and able to assist in change management initiatives for new processes under guidance.
- Aware of relevant external (legal, tax, regulatory) and internal (e.g., decision authority, procure-to-pay) stewardship requirements and acts accordingly.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Result-oriented mindset with strong business acumen.
- Proven ability to collaborate across multifunctional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
- Fluent in Spanish; English proficiency is a plus.
