Associate Industrial Engineer

Moog Aircraft Group Is Looking For An Associate Industrial Engineer To Work Closely With Managers To Develop And Maintain Improvement Plans; Gather And Provide Analytical Data; And Make Recommendations To Improve Overall Operational Efficiency.  This Position Is In West Falls, Ny.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Statistical Analysis On Historical Production Capabilities And Output, And Make Data-Based Decisions On Optimum Production Scheduling

• Help To Develop And Maintain Tooling Logs, Equipment Lists, Gage Calibration Schedules

• Help To Maintain Product Flow Through Management And Documentation Of Non-Conformances

• Make Recommendations For Equipment, Processes, Methods, Materials And Design Improvements

• Lead And Track Kaizen Events In The Manufacturing Areas

• Drive Results From A Cross Functional Team Consisting Of The Facilities, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, And Product And Design Engineering

• Support New Opportunities For Cost Reduction And Production Efficiency

• Use Understanding Of Manufacturing Business Processes To Support Capacity Planning

• Other Duties As Assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’S Degree In Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Or Manufacturing Engineering Or An Associate Degree With 3 Years Of Related Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience With Statistical And Continuous Improvement Tools, Cost Improvements, Removing Bottlenecks, And Root-Cause Analysis

• Experience With Lean Standard Work

• Experience Gathering And Analyzing Operational Data

• Experience With Visual Management Tools (5s)

• Skills In Interacting And Communicating At All Organizational Levels

• Analytical And Project Management Skills

• Experience Pulling Data Queries And Performing Analysis In Microsoft Excel

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $75,000.00–$95,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
