The Goddard School® located in Fairfield, NJ is looking for a motivated, self-starter for an Assistant Director position with the hours of 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday. The Assistant Director, working alongside an onsite owner, director and another assistant director, will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the school, ensuring the highest standards of education and care. This role involves supporting the school leadership in managing staff, maintaining compliance with licensing requirements and fostering positive relationships with parents and the community.

Qualifications:

• CDA, Associates or BA Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field
• Previous management experience
• Previous teaching experience in ECE
• Must be able to work 9am to 6pm
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education best practices.
• Organized and able to multitask, strategically resolves challenges, and has a great attitude
• Demonstrate highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Have a genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education

Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
