DS Smith is now hiring a Customer Experience Manager for the North EMEA region!
About The Role
DS Smith is seeking an exceptional Customer Experience Manager to drive superior customer engagement across North EMEA (Nordics and Baltics). In this pivotal role, you will spearhead continuous improvement of our relationships with strategic customers through our innovative Model to Serve approach.
As the bridge between Sales, Marketing, and Design/Innovation, you will orchestrate best-in-class physical, virtual and hybrid customer experiences. Leveraging our state-of-the-art PackRight Centers, you'll showcase cutting-edge trends, insights and packaging solutions that create value for our customers' businesses.
With a flair for event planning and coordination, you'll bring together cross-functional experts to delight customers and unlock new development opportunities. From preparing compelling content to facilitating insightful workshops and webinars, you'll engage audiences through informative and relevant storytelling.
To excel, you'll build strong partnerships across the matrix organization, collaborating with sales teams, designers and the wider European CX network. As the North EMEA trend expert, you'll localize insights spanning mega-trends, e-commerce, sustainability and more.

This role reports to SMI Director North EMEA and can be based at either of our North EMEA sites, with flexibility to travel to other countries and sites when needed.
Qualifications
- Business degree at BSC level or equivalent, combined with 5-7 years business experience, of which 4-5 years’ experience comes from commercial roles
- Experience in leading Customer Experience of large customer and / or experience as Business Development
- Experience and ability to work independently in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Dynamic
- Proven ability to intelligently operate and navigate in a multinational, corporate environment, profound experience working in matrix roles
- Experience with stakeholder management – proven ability to deal with stakeholders on senior management level and towards customers
- Strong communication and presentation skills – the right person will enjoy working collaboratively and creatively, with both Customers and colleagues
This role requires excellent language skills, oral and written, in English as well as one of our Baltic or Nordic languages.
