Job Description Summary

As part of the Imaging System Software team at GE HealthCare, you will be responsible for wing-to-wing execution of platform programs across the different Imaging modalities in line with the roadmap of the GE Healthcare Imaging business.

The role requires to work closely with technical teams and global stakeholders to drive synergies & adoption of platform deliverables into Imaging product releases and ensure platform solutions are delivered on time, within scope and budget and with desired quality.

This role requires a strategic understanding of the business, customer needs, product technology and the purpose & values of GE HealthCare to successfully deliver on the group priorities.

Job Description

In This Role, You Will:

  • Collaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership across GE Healthcare Imaging SW teams to drive technology discussion and strategy alignment with business needs and timelines.
  • Lead multi-generational project strategy aligned to deliver on the expected outcomes
  • Lead end-to-end execution & adoption of common platform releases across multiple modality programs and drive shared approach and outcomes-based tracking
  • Work with technical team often comprising of members of separate organizations to coordinate day-to-day execution as per outlined plan
  • Enable execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required
  • Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project
  • Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting at various levels of the organization including senior leadership and executives
  • Ensure pre-defined project management processes and practices are followed and quality of deliveries are verified as per stakeholder expectation and quality metrics are on track.
  • Drive operational efficiencies through workflow automation across diverse data sources

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’ s degree in Engineering with minimum of 12+ years of relevant work experience and with hands on exposure to software development lifecycle required

Desired Characteristics:

  • At least 6+ years of program management experience in handling multiple teams within or across organization
  • Experience in Healthcare domain would be an added advantage
  • PMI-ACP certification would be an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodology. Experience in working with large global distributed teams and knowledge of multiple Agile Frameworks including SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, XP or equivalent.
  • Proven experience using project management methodologies to deliver business value and drive significant change
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to influence outcomes and organize teams to attain shared goals.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization
  • Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
  • Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising on quality standards.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently towards timely completion of diverse assignments
  • Knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements and practices for Software, preferably HealthCare
  • Strong analytical and strong problem-solving skills, enabling data-driven decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans
  • Be a change agent - actively champions and drives change initiatives, process improvement
  • Proven experience in developing Power BI dashboards - Skilled in automating data workflows across diverse data sources such as defect dashboard, Agile PI Planning dashboards etc.
  • Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and / or industry activities
  • PMP, SAFe, ScrumMaster or related Project Management certifications
