Chronicle Editor
Since 1924, Ormond’s annual Chronicle has recorded the events of each year for posterity. A yearbook full of photos, reports and reflections, this document is both an important historical record of College life and a keepsake for students.
The 2026 Chronicle Editors will create the definitive record of student life in 2026 for both current students and for future generations.
Key Tasks
- Source articles and photos to record Ormond life in 2026, such as societies, speeches, events and sports. Commission and/or prepare feature articles on people, ideas and occurrences at Ormond in 2026;
- Collaborate and meet weekly (from week 4-5) with other Editors, the Communications Specialist and the Chronicle Designers (from week 1, semester two);
- Compile and edit articles and photos to deadlines agreed with the Communications Specialist;
- Other relevant duties as directed by the Communications Specialist.

Please note: This role is only available to Ormond College residential students, second and third year students (first year students may be considered).
