The Larson Group Peterbilt is looking for a Director of Specialty Markets to join our dynamic team. The Director of Specialty Markets is responsible for overseeing all aspects of TLG Refuse/Vocational Sales. This position will work with the Corporate New Truck team to grow TLG’s presence in the vocational market. Responsible for evaluating overall operation and developing major objectives, procedures, and programs for New Truck Sales. Maintains the highest quality standards of professionalism in serving the customer and identifying their needs.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead TLG Refuse Team
- Develop process improvements for all things NT related (vocational), including all NT paperwork, deal management, PA integration.
- Standardize all NT forms including proposal letter, body builder agreements, dealer agreements, etc.
- Coordinating with OEM and component vendors to provide training and develop processes for different product lines.
- Focus on how these programs help us increase sales.
- Develop/control compensation of these programs and decide if TLG keeps incentive comp or if we pass on to our salespeople.
- Develop a sales strategy outside of allocation.
- How do we keep our sales teams engaged and continually developing customer relationships
- Develop a plan to integrate current reporting with excel and our business systems.
- Focus on SOD improvements to assist our salespeople. Includes updating specs, pricing, and lead-time information relating to each bodied unit.
- Focus on helping us improve our NT presence on the TLG Website.
- Consistent research on prospecting tools/applications.
- Manage Body Builder Relationships/Partnerships
- Oversee tracking for assets at body companies.
- Manage relationships with OEM to help facilitate stock deals and customer deals for all TLG locations.
Qualifications:
- Should possess a High School diploma.
- A college degree or certificate in business management or similar is required.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role in a similar industry.
- Must demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
