About The Role
As a Senior Accountant at Scentia, you’ll play a key role in managing financial reporting, compliance, and system improvements across a dynamic, multi-entity environment. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders, support business growth through acquisitions and integrations, and ensure the integrity of our financial systems and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close, including journals, accruals, and financial reporting
- Prepare and review P&L, Balance Sheet, and variance analysis
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with AASB standards
- Oversee Balance Sheet reconciliations and fixed asset register
- Prepare BAS, FBT, and support income tax and audit processes
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial insights for business units
- Support ERP and finance system maintenance (NetSuite, Oracle); use Salesforce for reporting
- Contribute to system integrations, acquisitions, and process improvement initiatives

About You
- CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent)
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar accounting role, ideally in a multi-entity environment
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience preparing financial statements
- Exposure to corporate tax, income tax, and FBT compliance
- Proficient in Excel (intermediate to advanced), with ability to quickly learn ERP systems
- Experience with NetSuite, Oracle, and Salesforce highly regarded
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
