This role is responsible for operations for the Warehouse and Weigh and Dispense areas at the Lilly Limerick site. Reporting to the role are operations teams from the warehouse, operations teams from the weigh and dispense area and technical experts that support business processes and unit operations in both areas.
Key Responsibilities
Operations in the warehouse area and weigh and dispense areas which includes the following business processes and unit operations:
- Goods receipts of direct materials used in the production process.
- Inventory management including operation of the Automated Storage and Retrieval systems.
- Raw Material Sampling to meet Quality Control Requirements.
- Cell banking storage and retrieval operations.
- Indirect materials vendor managed inventory business process for the site.
Kitting Operations.
Kanban Replenishment.
- Drug substance put away and storage.
- Shipping of drug substance to drug product sites.
- Weigh and dispense area operations.
Ensuring compliance to the Lilly safety standards and well-being of employees is a cornerstone of the role.
Meeting the GMP standards outlined in the global Lilly quality standards.
Building and maintaining a highly engaged team.
Accountable for the maintenance and continuous improvement of business processes and unit operations.
Delivery of the digital roadmap for the area.
Meeting budget targets particularly in inventory management and vendor-managed inventory spend.

Educational Qualifications/ Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering or Supply Chain or related discipline
- Minimum of (8) years’ experience in manufacturing, preferred in pharmaceutical or other regulated industries.
- Experience with integrated business process flows, driven by SAP applications, in a manufacturing facility.
